Position Overview

Melum Masonry is looking for a dependable, skilled Mason to join our team. This is a full-time field position focused on residential masonry work including repair, restoration, and stone veneer installation.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, shows up consistently, and can work as part of a small, professional crew. Experience in masonry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Installation of stone veneer
• Chimney repair and rebuilds
• Tuckpointing and mortar repair
• Stone fireplace surrounds
• Brick and block repair
• Light masonry restoration
• Mixing mortar and handling materials
• Jobsite prep and cleanup
• Maintaining clean and safe work areas

Masonry Repair Technician

Position Overview

Melum Masonry is looking for a dependable, hands-on Masonry Repair Technician to join our team. This role focuses primarily on chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, foundation repair, and residential masonry restoration work.

Most of our work is residential and local. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants steady, long-term work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Chimney repair and rebuilds
• Tuckpointing and mortar repair
• Brick and block replacement
• Light foundation repair
• Demolition and prep work
• Mixing mortar and handling materials
• Working safely on ladders and scaffolding
• Maintaining clean jobsites

What We’re Looking For

• Masonry or construction experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Positive attitude and reliability
• Ability to work with a small crew
• Willingness to learn and grow
